Standard Deviations - Lola Pacini

drawmecuteHUFFLEPUFF'S SEEKER
| Lola's a half-blood who easily was sorted to the house of Hufflepuff. The hat suggested she could also make a fine Slytherin, but she felt she liked the sound of Hufflepuff better. She's an average student, defense against the dark art being her strongest subject. Most of her charms backfire, her transfigurations unravel... she does okay with potions (if they have a cosmetic or beauty use). Generally it is more a question of how much she cares, and unless it works to replicate social media, or make people more gorgeous... she's really unenthusiastic. But where Lola excels, truly, is athletics. She made it to the Quidditch team starting in second year, her father got her a broom modeled on the old Moontrimmer. Made for high jumps, climbs, and faster dives. She was quickly moved from Chaser to Seeker with her accelerated learning curve of broom handling. She also quickly made second seat in the dueling team. Her wand is is a decent length rowan stick, pink paint as old as the wand adorn the handle and shaft. Lola's big contribution to the school is constructing a magical network similar to that of a muggle cell network, with the same tricks and social media apps popularized by muggle children. She put a lot of work into making a set of scrolls to interact with each other. |
SOCIAL BUTTERFLY
| Lola is a low power technopath. She can hear and intercept wireless signals and interact with devices on any wireless network, bypassing passwords and security with very little worry. In her day to day life she uses it to keep tabs on her school, and help people that need someone to talk to. Following their social media profiles and gauge people's actions on that. She uses it for a little personal gain, dates here or there. Getting the right present for the right friend. In her off hours she trades in information to superheroes, leading them to crimes on the way or helping anyone hunt down something they need. She seems a bit like a space cadet, cause her head is so full of data from other sources she can get a little lost. She plays into the role, acting ditzier to cover up her powers. Plus people expect it, when you look like she does. |
PINK PEUCHEN
| Lola came to Beacon Point because all the monsters came there. Her dad opened a new Cantina, and she started at the school. Her nature was fairly easy to hide, she is a shapeshifter by nature. And she could sustain herself on less-than-fresh animal blood instead of draining wild animals like she was suppose to. ...Although sometime that hunting instinct came up and she'd rush into the woods to kill a deer. While the exact nature of a Peuchen is that of a winged serpent, Lola rarely takes that form. Mostly her body covers itself with scales and sprouts claws and fangs, as a way to fight. The more she transforms the less human her mind becomes. She's afraid she might kill someone, even in her most human she occasionally has to hunt a wild animal. Her other defensive measure is her eyes can induce a state of shock, paralyzing a target. Mostly she just wants to be normal. |
SORROW IS KNOWLEDGE
| The Sorrow is Knowledge is an Eternal Vigilance class High Guard battleship. It survived the fall of the Commonwealth and passed from hand to hand. Staying relatively well maintained as a smuggler's ship. Well defended from being caught due to the long range surveillance systems still being online. Eventually, however, she bucked the smugglers who had been using her reactivating the ship's Command Unit avatar: Lola. Lola is a rather young looking AI and command unit, sturdy at under five feet tall and fairly pixie-like in appearance, much more childlike in demeanor. She's a gossip, befitting of a Surveillance ship's interface. She's still a capable combatant, AI, and defensive system. Naturally her youthful appearance made it easy for her to overpower her false crew, they didn't expect a young woman like her to be as powerful as she was. They forgot she's an android. Eventually she made her way back to the new Commonwealth with the helps of her 'crew,' two women on the run by the name of Shay and Frankie. They joined the New Commonwealth and were part of Sorrow is Knowledge's crew after the ship got a complete overhaul. ROSE WITCH
| She ended up in Traverse Town when her world fell to the darkness, there she learned how to use magic to help protect from the endless swarms of the Heartless who found their way into Traverse Town. Initially from the realm of Toronto, Canada. She took a gummi ship to go and search the other worlds for her friends. Eventually she discovered Tiny, then Shay, and Franks. Apparently Degrassi is a world of powerful hearts that don't break with the world. Lola could potentially get a keyblade if she was part of a rite of succession, but for now she uses her mageblades. Small knives she dances around with that helps focus her casting. Her skills and abilities are athletic and magical, but she has trouble using cure magic. |
SIMPLE RETAINER
| Frankie, noble of the Hollingsworth family, was moved from Nohr to Hoshido as a child due to a disagreement between her father and mother. Her brothers set off with their retainers (Winston and Esme for Miles, Yael and Vijay with Hunter) after this due to their dissatisfaction living in Hoshido and fleeing their home in Nohr. However as the dutiful daughter, Frankie stayed with her mother. Along with her two bodyguards. Of course, staying in the castle grew dull. And Frankie did not sit idle in her castle, she did learn to battle herself. So she, accompanied by Shay and Lola, traveled to see what they could do after the war started. But this isn't about Frankie, this is about Lola, devoted and fashion forward knight in the service of Frankie. Naturally her main concerns were finding new clothes and new boys as they traveled, but she did carry a great deal of sorrow at all the death and destruction she found. And acted to help in whatever wahy she could. Usually ferrying wounded away from conflicts. |
