Help with Samples! (Setting: Generic Jamjar)
Network Post 1
Hi!Network Post 2
*Look at this cute thing, she's very polite, and bubbly. Probably not all there given everyone is in a weird setting nobody could prepare for.*
I know everything is kinda weird, and a bunch of people aren't really people. We have robots, and a couple cat people, and a pony with great fashion sense, but I thought we should all take the time to share and get to know each other. So I thought we can each share some things about home, skills, or just cool things that you've been through.
If anyone needs help I'm a total wiz at editing now! Some nerds with dubious fashion senses helped me learn at home.
Umm... is there anyone that knows anything about, um, fighting?Action Post 1
*Someone looks like they are trying very hard not to be scared. And they are succeeding at looking strong, not so much at not looking scared.*
See, I'm really cute, and fashionable. And nobody is better at organizing make-up and keeping track of social things. But here... there are a lot of really scary things, and some of them are nice, but a lot of them... aren't.
*She closes her eyes, breathes deep, and looks at the camera again.*
I'm not going to ever be as good at this stuff as most of you, but I don't wanna be useless when things get really tough. Not anymore. Okay?
Lola milled around her shop. Well, not her's, but she had shaped it into what it was by working here. Changing things, making it better, nicer, more... effective. It sold clothes, and make-up, and helped anyone feel beautiful and like they were a prince or princess or... very pretty weird lizard thing.Action Post 2
It wasn't her's, not in name, but she made it her own. She felt very much like she belonged here, as much as she felt she belonged anywhere in this strange odd world she fell into.
Lola scrambled through the window, then looked around the room. She quickly picked a heavy looking bookcase and wedged herself into the space next to it. Put her weight against the wall, slipped out of her heels, and worked the bookshelf over. It took a little time but eventually the heavy bookcase met its match and slammed down over the window. She sighed, picked up her shoes, "Now how to I get out of here..."

"Ah, fair princess. I assure you, while I am around, you have no need to fear. I will use every resource available to me to ensure that you learn all you wish to learn and feel safe."
[He seemed completely earnest, and the blue eyes that looked straight ahead at the camera were serious and intent. But the kid, and kid he was, looked 10. 12 at oldest. ]

I'm flattered, but I'm not a princess. I don't know why anyone would make that mistake.
*She isn't even trying to look like a princess, she could nail that if she tried. But she wasn't trying! Honest.*
But... aren't you a little young to have any sort of resources for this?
no subject
"When a young woman is in need, a proper gentleman can always find the resources to come to her aid."
[He stood, flaring a folding fan as he did."
"I am Nokoru Imonoyama, at your service, my lady."
[A word appeared on the fan, as though painted with ink. It read "Chivalry."]

*She was smiling, cause this was cute. And a good distraction if ever she needed one.*
You're not any older than me, and while the fan is very nice and... the calligraphy is excellent, where did you buy that? No, not the point, tell me later. What exactly can you do to help?
no subject
"I can hire you a bodyguard, or more than one if you would feel safer that way. I can help ensure that wherever you are living here is protected and fortified, as is your place of work and school. And I can keep you company, if you feel you need it, at any time."
"As to the fan," [He smiled and hid the lower half of his face behind it and the writing changed to read "secret"] "My family invented it. I was bored and Grandmother thought it would be something I would enjoy having."
no subject
*Buying Lola things, good. Giving Lola people... that's just weird. Like, it would help her feel safe but at the same time it was just not really how she handled things.*
Hmm. It's a neat way to express yourself, especially if you can have the design match your outfit. How do you pick what it says?
no subject
[He was going to casually not answer the questions about the fan and hope that she dropped them.]

*Lola is small and cute but she would like to be able to do some more herself. She is old enough to decide things for herself. Even if she doesn't always act it. Speaking of.*
So... do you just not know how your fan works?
no subject
"I do know, however I have signed a non-disclosure with my family and am not at liberty to discuss it, even for one so fair as you."
no subject
*She is waiting for there to be strings.*
That's boring. But whatever.

H-Hello-Is someone there? I heard something fall...

*And Lola didn't exactly have a plan to hide, so she's kinda stuck in the middle of the room. And there's a bookcase that got pushed over in front of a window. Well, at least this guy wasn't worse than the things out there.*
Um... hi. I just- was hiding, from the scary ugly cloaks outside that make me think of algebra and other awful things.
no subject
Tilting his head, curiously.]
Ugly cloaks?
[Arthur went to the window to try and look for them. His eyes widen as his hand that rested on the window panel went cold. He took in a breath as he quickly drew the curtain. Reaching for her hand.]
W-We gotta move away from this spot, here come with me, we'll go hide by the fireplace. They won't follow us there.
no subject
*But he not only seemed as freaked out by the things outside, but she really didn't see any other options.*
Right. Why is the fireplace where we're hiding?
*She took his hand, her shoes still in her other hand because... heels. Not running in those if she can get away with being shoeless.*
no subject
There's no windows here. They won't be able to see us. Plus the fire isn't going now, they won't suspect we're here.
[As they got inside the room he took a breath.]
Okay, those things made you think of sad things right? Those things will do that, try to think of something good. Something positive, believe me it'll help.
